- Temptation is almost always accompanied by an excuse.
- Temptation originates from our own desires. (Matthew 4:1-11)
- Temptation will always present sin in an attractive manner.
How do we defeat temptation?
- Run from temptation — FLEE! (1 Timothy 6:11)
- Realize that temptation is only the beginning. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
- Recognize that Satan will always use our past failures to tempt us. Stay Alert!
