Nxt Level Student Ministries

Our Purpose
The purpose of Nxt Level Student Ministries here at Worthington Christian Church is to take students to the "Next Level" by connecting them in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; by growing students in their faith, by serving other students and adults and by investing into the lives of lost friends!

Students who are involved in our program come from 8 different school districts in the north Columbus area, but they have one thing in common: they have found meaning for their lives in Jesus Christ and are seeking to serve Him.

If you are searching for a place to fit in then we would like to invite you to be a part of the NXT LEVEL!

Q. How can I keep up wth all of the awesome stuff going on at Worthington Christian Church?

A. We have developed six ways for you to do:

• Nxt Level Communication Station: all Jr. High and Sr. High events including info, sign up, permission forms, and contacts will be posted on the gray boards located on the second floor.
• Postcards and flyers will be sent home for every event. Please ask your son or daughter for their copy.
• The church bulletin on Sunday mornings.
• Right here on the WCC Nxt Level website!
• Student announcements, which will be made at our Student Sunday School classes and evening youth groups (Revolution & Underground) and/or any small groups.
• Revolution and Underground note cards are given to students every Sunday night with information about current and upcoming events.

Q. How do I get involved?

A. Just four easy steps!

• The first step is to just simply come to Sr. High "Revolution" or Jr. High "Underground" and check it out! "Revolution" and "Underground" are every Sunday night on the Nxt Level. These are both great opportunities to get to know some of the other students and adult mentors. Sunday night is a relaxed/non threating atmostphere that will give you an opportunity to just hang with us. "Revolution" and "Underground" will provide you with all the opportunities to get involved. Hope to see you there!
• We will contact you by phone and email to let you know how awesome it was to meet you and to let you know of some cool ways you could get to know some other students.
• We will send you some cool stuff in the mail that will tell you all about Worthington Student Ministries and cool ways you can get involved.
• We will give you a CD that you just put into your computer that tells you everything you would possibly what to know.

Q. Who will be working with our students?

A. The Worthington Student Ministries team consist of the following:

Q. What's a Small Group?

A. Well I can tell you what it isn't. It isn't a group of small, little wee people. And it isn't a clique or a group of meanies! It is a group of about twelve students Jr. High & Sr. High agred that want to learn form their experiences and they learn from theirs. Small Groups are the way the early church started.

All Small Groups are open to new students who are just looking to be honest and grow int heir faith. Life is difficult and it is not meant to be spent all by ourselves. Join a Small Group, I guarantee you will not regret it! Small Groups meet on Wednesday night during regular Grow! semesters from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in the Connections Cafe.
